A Saw, A Wrench, and H-Strut®
The
H-Strut metal framing system provides continuous channel suspension
from the planning stages to the acutal construction in less time...with
least effort.
With
the H-Strut Channel and fittings, lightweight suspension systems
can be speedily erected in an unlimited variety of styles to
meet all structural requirements...providing a firm nchorage
in any type of structure for pipe hangers and supports.
The
H-Strut is easily cut into any desired length. In concrete structures,
H-Strut continuous concrete inserts provide a continuous slotted
channel in floors, walls or ceilings. Special H-Strut nuts are
inserted into the channel slot and positioned at the desired
location along the channel. H-Strut fittings are then positioned
on the nut. Spring holds the nut in place during this step.
A
wrench is applied to the cap screw which causes the serrated
grooves in the H-Strut nut to bite into the channel, positively
locking assembly in place. NO DRILLING...NO WELDING... NO SPECIAL
TOOLS REQUIRED.
